Summary

The article titles Food Smarts by PBS kids informs us about how to make healthy food choices. First, you should know that skipping meals is not a healthy choice for your body. We should be having 3 regular sized nutritious meals a day. It is also a good idea to eat healthy snacks between meals. Next, when you’re in the store make sure you look at the food labels to ensure that you’re making healthy choices. Some labels that say “all natural” still contain a lot of sugar and fats. Additionally, when eating fast foods just be mindful as they are high in fats, sodium and calories. Finally, honey and sugar are both sweeteners but just be cautious about the amount that you’re using because honey can also have many calories. Although sugar gives you energy, it’s only temporary and the sugar causes spikes in your blood level. In conclusion, always try to make informed decisions about your food choices.
